Constructed of stainless steel, the lock reinforcer plate comes in a stainless steel finish, and all the necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation.

The lock reinforcement plate is pre-punched for mounting, and it is designed for a snug fit on 1-3/4 inch thick doors. Measuring 3-7/8 inch wide by 4-1/2 inch tall, the reinforcement plate accommodates key-in knob locksets on doors that have 2-1/8 inch bore sizes, with a backset of 2-3/8 inch from the edge of the door. The door reinforcer is recessed for latch installation when the door latch area is damaged, and the user can install the door reinforcer and then insert the latch through the recessed area for proper mounting.
